Lastics Classes

Lastics classes are online and in-person in NYC. The coolest thing about our classes is that they identify issues in your body first, and then target them with a unique set of exercises. This approach leads to faster, better, more intrinsic results.

Our classes are full of people who share a passion for feeling good in their bodies. From people who are healing from an injury, conditioning for a sport, training for a profession in dance, gymnastics, skating, etc..., looking for pain relief, advancing a yoga or Pilates practice, to those just plain interested in being more flexible, stable and strong, all are welcome.

We currently have in-person classes at Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway

Athleta, Steps on Broadway, PA Ballet, Broadway Dance Center, Alvin Ailey, Pace University, Joffrey Ballet School, Rioult Dance Center, Peridance, Complete Gym, The Teen Company, Joffrey Ballet Chicago, Broadway Con, Cal-a-vie, Broadway Dance Theatre

Believers

"LASTICS is a stretch class for sure, but the benefits go far beyond a good stretch. My body feels well stretched, integrated, whole, relaxed, and strengthened. Pretty amazing."

Bebe Neuwirth
Tony, Emmy and Drama Desk award winning actress, singer, and dancer on Broadway. Broadway credits include Chorus Line, Sweet Charity, Chicago, Damn Yankees and The Addams Family. TV/film credits include Cheers, Frasier, Law & Order, The Good Wife, Madam Secretary, Blue Bloods, Jumanji: The Next Level, The Good Fight, and tick tick...Boom!

“What makes Donna Flagg’s Lastics different from other stretch classes is her vast knowledge of how to get you in just the right position to isolate an area to be stretched. Once there, deceptively small movements get big results. We may look “chill” on our mats on the floor but, believe me, it’s intense! As a former dancer, I appreciate that she accommodates past injuries and often works on each side of the body separately and carefully.”

Willy Falk
Broadway actor, singer. Credits include A Chorus Line, Miss Saigon, Les Misérables, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

"I love Lastics because it takes into account the entire body and not just the part being stretched. It is intelligent stretching that builds strength, alignment and overall movement quality. I do an hour of Lastics and then teach a dance class able to demonstrate choreography free from worry about injury."

Mimi Quillin
Broadway actress, dancer, singer. Sweet Charity. Verdon Fosse Legacy Reconstructeur

"Lastics has been a revolution for my body."

Jan Horvath
Broadway singer, dancer. Original Broadway Cast of The Phantom of the Opera. Sweet Charity

"Lastics changed my teaching, my dancing and my life."

Dana Moore
Broadway actress, dancer, singer. Dancin', Chicago, Sweet Charity. Verdon Fosse Legacy Reconstructeur

"Lastics is a great way to prepare your body for any kind of movement. Within one class I saw a huge improvement in my flexibility, as well as my balance and control. This truly works wonders!"

Marina Micalizzi
Billy Elliot on Broadway

“I found muscles that I never felt before and was much more limber than usual afterwards."

Randy Foye
Former NBA Point Guard

"Lastics has been completely new and rewarding experience for the Joffrey Academy students. It has helped them think about using their muscles in different ways in ballet class as it incorporates exercises that both stretch and strengthen muscles."

Anna Reznik
Academy Artistic Director, Joffrey Chicago
